Welcome all of you new ULTIMATE players to AU Ultimate. The best ultimate site in the world, and the only Ultimate Frisbee podcast now in HD. Thanks to everyone for coming out to “Midnight Frisbee.” I hope it was fun for everyone, including the girls. You all know the ladies rock at frisbee. If you missed midnight frisbee I’m sorry, but here is some quick information to keep you up to date on our awesome ULTIMATE club.

The first interest meeting is definitely on the 11th. It will be repeated in stall talk, and at the first chapel to make sure everyone is aware. I’m sure it will spread by word of mouth like wild fire and everyone will be there, so no worries. To find out more news hit up our facebook group (THATS THE LINK) and join that. We’ll be sending mass messages to give you a heads up when we are playing some pickup, among all the other news. so you’ll want to be a part of that and this website. News will be posted here as well as our awesome podcast. When it’s light out we’ll be filming and grabbing pictures so come out to get in those pics. I think that covers everything, like I said come out September 11th at 5p.m. at the soccer fields for our first interest meeting. Alright you crazy huckers, if you like to watch our videos on other devices besides the website well you can finally do it. Our podcast was approved by the might iTunes and I’m going to start working the kinks out of. I want to add, hopefully, HD version, iPod versions, and iPhone versions. I think that should cover all of the devices out there. HD for your TV’s and computers, iPod versions for all the iPod sized screens, and the iPhone version for the Zune and iPhone and PSP. Anyway there will be a link in the sidebar for the Podcast. All you have to do is click on it and it will take you to iTunes. Otherwise click on THIS link right HERE to get it RIGHT NOW

Well welcome back again to AU|U Online!! Hope everyone’s summer is going well.

I’ve got the website fixed, FINALLY! The Frolf section is up, I’ll be adding the two courses before the summer is over. Atleast before we get back to school, so I can work on adding all of the courses before the Frolf season winds down. Also you’ll notice the new grass background, definitely easier to look at than before. I’ve got the spam under control, so feel free to leave your comments and I’ll actually get them this time.

Another new thing is that I can now use our domain name for e-mail adresses, so to email AU|U send your email to hello@auultimate.com from now on. Mark it in your address books and whatnot. Also just for fun if you are interested you can have an email with “yourname”@auultimate.com if anyone is interested, haha. For instance Joey Cari can have one like joey@auultimate.com, pretty sweet huh?!

So to get down to business I’ve got a few questions to ask. I’ve made a T-shirt template, so if anyone wants to design a T-shirt I have all sorts of templates that you can use. Download the right template right HERE, then send your finished work to hello@auultimate.com I’m hoping that we get a few submissions and can sell a few to help raise money for our club. I’ll be anxiously awaiting so let me know if you are going to make one. I will also be adding a donate button somehow, so we can take donations to the club. If you know any businesses around Anderson perhaps we could talk to them as well to get some sponsors. Tell me if you know of any. Maybe Dunhams, or Foot Locker, haha etc… businesses like that.

So that’s the big news for now, if you have some pictures or video of AU|U let me know so we can get it on here. Like I said I’ll have frolf and all those goodies going soon! Thanks dudes.

If you are worried about your dear AU Ultimate website, then fear no more. I recovered everything but our database. So all of our pages and whatnot (pictures etc…) I still have. We’re just missing our old blog posts which is alright by me. I’ve been doing a lot of work on the website, it’s just that you can’t see it yet as it is all backend stuff. I think it is about ready to go again though. Once I open up the header.php file and modify it to contain all of  the links to our pages it will be up and roaring. Frolf will have one course up, sorry about that wait. I have two courses photographed. One is edited and compressed ready to post so that will be up hopefully! I don’t know if I can make a timeframe for this all as I have two jobs this summer despite running three other websites. I can promise that it will be up soon though, I might just work on it until it’s done over this weekend and next week. 

Sorry if this is all rambling, and incoherent. I’m packing to head to the lake as well as do this last minute stuff. I wanted to leave you with this picture as I leave.
